About the SHAMBA foundation

The SHAMBA foundation is a registered Canadian Charity. All of our programs provide important support services to other registered Canadian charities, all the while incorporating philanthropy into corporate culture through volunteerism.

Founded 2007 by Anthony Lacavera, the SHAMBA foundation has established a unique identity for itself by executing programs in a way that's hands-on, low cost and high impact.

Current programs:

• SHAMBA consulting

We provide pro bono consulting to our "Guest Charities" to help improve their organization's efficiency and capacity.

• SHAMBA Nights Application

We host low overhead fundraisers for registered Canadian charities in the SHAMBA Space and provide a multitude of support services to our Guest Charities with respect to planning and executing their SHAMBA Night.

100% of funds raised at the fundraiser go directly towards our Guest Charity.

• SHAMBA In Good Company

Through this initiative, we provide a unique opportunity to registered charities across Canada to work together to leverage their strengths and achieve economies of scale while working towards a shared cause.

100% of the money raised at the fundraiser goes directly towards the paired organization's joint In Good Company initiative.

Coming Soon:

• SHAMBA Educational Seminars - SHAMBA Educational Seminars will be hosted for the purpose of providing information to charities on topics impacting the voluntary sector.

Seminars will also provide a platform for discussion amongst industry professionals where important topics, challenges and solutions related to the charitable sector will be explored.
