The SHAMBA foundation's mandate is to provide programming to charities to help them reach their greatest potential, thereby maximizing the quality of social services available to the public.

Another part of SHAMBA's mandate is to incorporate philanthropy into corporate culture by encouraging and implementing corporate volunteerism.

SHAMBA currently supports this part of its mandate by involving Globalive employees in the SHAMBA foundation's programs, creating consistent, hands-on and fun volunteer opportunities. Globalive believes that maintaining a philanthropic social culture is an important enabler to giving back to the community and providing team and company morale building opportunities. Because of Globalive's hands-on approach to charitable giving through the SHAMBA foundation, together we are planting the importance of philanthropy on the corporate agendas of business professionals through leading by example
